Two new Claude models just went live inside Zerply: Sonnet 5, now the default for your agent, and Fable 5, back for when a task needs real depth.
Every task your Zerply agent runs, clustering keywords, checking what a competitor ranks for, drafting a page before it ships to your domain, depends on one thing: the model actually doing the reasoning behind it.
When that model is thin on reasoning, the agent takes longer to get to a useful answer. When it's priced like an enterprise tool, running more research through it gets expensive fast. You end up choosing between speed, depth, and cost, when you shouldn't have to choose at all.
Sonnet 5 and Fable 5 are live
Sonnet 5 is now the default model behind your Zerply agent, chat, research, and publishing all run on it. It reasons close to Opus 4.8, Zerply's most expensive model, at a noticeably lower cost per task, so running more through the agent doesn't scale your bill the same way it used to.
Fable 5 is also back on the roster. It's the sharpest model we offer, running with extended reasoning switched on by default, built for the tasks that genuinely need to think longer: untangling a messy keyword cluster, or reasoning all the way through a competitor's content strategy.
What you can do now
- Run more without the bill creeping up: Sonnet 5 handles chat, competitor research, and publishing at a lower cost per task than the model it replaces.
- Reach for real depth on hard problems: Switch to Fable 5 from the model picker when a task needs deeper reasoning, like a full competitor teardown or an ambiguous keyword cluster.
- Same workflow, sharper answers: Every tool your agent already calls, Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword and backlink research, now runs on both new models with nothing to set up on your end.
Try it now
Open your Zerply chat, open the model picker, and you'll see Sonnet 5 already selected. Switch to Fable 5 any time a task needs to think harder.
