Why products

AI answers shoppers with product cards. Each card has a price and a store link. Brand-level tracking can't see which of yours win the click.

One score hides the catalog.

A store with 9,000 products needs a number for every product and every category, not one score for the whole shop.

Rivals share your answers.

AI puts competitor products in the same answer as yours. See which ones, and what AI searched for before it answered.

The link decides the sale.

AI often names a product and links to any store that sells it. A marketplace needs to know how often that store is its own.

Catalog

Connect the catalog you already have. Four sources. No engineering project.

Shopify

Enter your store address

Zerply reads the public catalog. No login, no app to install.

Fastest start for Shopify stores

Merchant Center

Connect your Google account

Pick the Merchant Center account that holds your listings. Zerply uses the catalog Google Shopping already sees.

Best when Merchant Center is your source of truth

Product feed

Add a feed link or a file

Reuse the feed you already send to Google Shopping. Up to 500,000 products.

Built for large catalogs

Collections

Point Zerply at your category pages

No catalog to share? Zerply reads the category pages in your sitemap and keeps the ones people search for most.

No catalog access needed

Connect nothing, and it still works. Zerply builds a product list from the products AI answers already show for your store.

Setup

From catalog to tracked products in one setup. Store tracking runs inside every daily AI Visibility run. No second tool.

  1. 1

    Your store, detected.

When you add a website, Zerply checks whether it is an online store and whether it sells many brands, like a marketplace. Change either answer in setup or in Settings → General.

  2. 2

    Your catalog, connected.

Shopify, Google Merchant Center, a product feed or your category pages. One step in setup.

  3. 3

    Prompts, written for shoppers.

An agent sorts products into categories with monthly search volume, then writes prompts for shopper profiles like “Parent of a toddler” or “First half marathon”, at every funnel stage.

  4. 4

    Product cards, read daily.

Each run reads product cards from six AI engines, including ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, and matches every card to a product in your catalog.

Reports

New store reports on AI Visibility Home. Plus a Shopping page for your whole catalog.

Every category, ranked. One card per category ranks the tracked brands by mention rate and shows how yours moved since the last period. Sort by Weakest and each card names the brands AI recommends ahead of you.

What you can do

Product-level AI data, turned into a to-do list. Start with the gaps that cost the most.

  • 1

    Find products AI never shows.

Filter Shopping to “Not seen in AI” and sort by price. Start with the expensive ones.

  • 2

    Fix your weakest categories.

Sort Performance by category by Weakest. Each card names the brands AI picks ahead of you.

  • 3

    Catch wrong prices.

When AI quotes a price that differs from your catalog, open the answers and check the cited pages. Old product pages and reseller listings are common causes.

  • 4

    See who you lose to.

Competitor products lists what AI showed beside yours. Fan-out queries show the searches that led there.

  • 5

    Grow marketplace share.

See how often shopping answers link to your store, next to every rival store.

  • 6

    Get store findings in Signals.

Signals adds category and product gaps to its plan, and checks prices, discounts, returns and shipping in answers to buying prompts.

  • 7

    Cover every funnel stage.

Each category gets prompts for every stage. Marketplaces also get “where to buy” prompts.

  • 8

    Run it for clients.

Agencies get the same store setup for every client and every pitch.

FAQ

Ecommerce AI visibility, answered.

What is E-commerce AI Visibility?

It is a part of Zerply AI Visibility that tracks your product catalog. Zerply records which products ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and other AI engines show to shoppers, matches each product card to your catalog, and reports mention rate, position and quoted price for every product and category.

Which catalog sources can I connect?

You can connect a Shopify store by entering its address, a Google Merchant Center account, a product feed (a link or a file, up to 500,000 products), or your website's category pages. If you connect nothing, Zerply builds a product list from the products that AI answers already show for your store.

Does it work for marketplaces?

Yes. Zerply checks whether your site sells many brands. For marketplaces it adds prompts that ask where to buy a product, and a report that shows what share of shopping answers link to your store next to each rival store.

Which AI engines does it track?

Zerply reads product cards from six AI engines, including ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. Some engines show product cards in fewer answers than others, so the number of cards differs by engine.

Who writes the prompts?

An agent writes them. It groups your products into categories, picks shopper profiles from your customer documents and brand guidelines, and reads keyword ideas and the Google AI Mode queries in your Search Console data. Each category gets prompts for every funnel stage.

Do store prompts count against my plan limit?

On a standalone plan, up to 200 store prompts sit outside your plan's prompt limit.

How do I turn it on if I already use Zerply?

Turn on E-commerce in Settings, General. Connect your catalog in Settings, Integrations, then open Shopping in the sidebar.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Zerply has a 7-day free trial with no commitment. Setup detects whether your site is a store and asks for your catalog.
