Prompt Review
Your prompts decide what Zerply can see. If they are thin, outdated, or clustered in one stage of the buying journey, your Mention Rate and Share of Voice only tell part of the story. Prompt Review keeps that set current as your business and category evolve.
Once a month, Zerply researches your latest AI Visibility data and crawls your live website, then produces a clear brief: prompts worth adding, prompts to reconsider removing, and a funnel view of how your existing set covers awareness, consideration, and decision.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Open AI Visibility and select Prompts in the sidebar. Use the tabs at the top of the page:
- Tracking shows the prompts you already run every day
- Suggestions shows open recommendations from the latest monthly review
- To remove shows prompts flagged as weak-signal or off-business
When a new review is ready, Zerply emails your team with a link to the Suggestions tab.
What a monthly review contains
Section titled “What a monthly review contains”Each review opens with a short summary of the period: what is working in your current prompt set, and where coverage is thin.
Suggestions are a pick-list of new prompts grounded in how your site describes the business today. Zerply balances them across:
- Category prompts — problem and “best of” questions without naming your brand
- Competitor prompts — alternatives and comparison questions
- Perception prompts — branded questions about how AI talks about you
Within those suggestions, Zerply also balances Awareness, Consideration, and Decision so you are not only tracking late-funnel branded questions.
To remove flags prompts that are older, show weak signal for both your brand and tracked competitors, and no longer match what the business sells. Scrub recommendations are never auto-deleted. You choose Remove or Skip.
How Zerply decides what to suggest
Section titled “How Zerply decides what to suggest”Prompt Review does not rely on outdated brand memory. The agent loads your metrics and tracked prompts, then crawls your homepage and related offering pages before writing suggestions. That matters when you have pivoted: if the site now sells strategy work instead of an older product story, suggestions follow the live site.
Suggestions may also use AI search volume data when available, so phrasing can reflect real demand — without inventing volumes.
Accepting a suggestion creates a tracked prompt with its funnel stage and category already set. Your plan’s prompt limit still applies.
Funnel coverage on Tracking
Section titled “Funnel coverage on Tracking”On the Tracking tab, Zerply shows how many of your live prompts sit in Awareness, Consideration, and Decision. Use the stage filters to scan gaps. Prompt Review classifications also update funnel stage and category on existing prompts when the monthly run completes.
A healthy set usually has coverage at every stage. Awareness questions show whether you appear when buyers are learning the category. Consideration and Decision questions show whether you appear when they are shortlisting and choosing.
When your next review appears
Section titled “When your next review appears”Zerply creates a Prompt Review on a monthly cadence after your workspace has enough AI Visibility data for a useful brief. Your team needs at least five completed or partially completed tracking runs during the period.
When a newer completed review lands, open suggestions from the previous month are superseded so the queue stays current. Skipped periods (not enough data) leave your open items alone.
Prompt Review is included with Starter, Pro, and Business. Enterprise workspaces can enable it through their enterprise configuration.
What to do with your first review
Section titled “What to do with your first review”Open Suggestions, read the monthly summary, then add the prompts that fill your thinnest funnel stages first. Prefer category and competitor panel prompts before stacking more branded perception questions.
Then open To remove and dismiss or remove items that no longer match the live business. Come back next month when the next review arrives — small, consistent updates keep AI Visibility honest as you grow.
